In the book Professor Steve Peters compares the components of the brain to the Solar system, and if one part of the brain isn't thriving the rest won’t, just like the solar system. This is where i got the inspiration for this cover from, I like that this cover portrays the idea of the chimp always being with you wherever you are. He just never leaves. I chose a white background to make the cover feel more sciency and like a self help book.
Professor Steve Peters characterises the chimp as being the hierachy of both the human and the computer, that’s why i wanted to make the chimp look like he’s having a piggy back of the human, inspiration also comes from the saying “monkey off your back” i like the colours of the cover, it makes the book feel inclusive, whilst getting to the point.
